Digi-Key Corporation, a distributor of electronic components, has expanded its offerings of ECAD tools from Mentor Graphics. Premium versions of both Designer Schematic and Designer Layout platforms are now available. Import from xDX Designer and PADS Layout for reference designs have also been added.

The two platforms are available at Digi-Key for a 90-day discounted rate. Annual product subscriptions can also be purchased.

Both companies are also working to create solutions that can address the growing demand for ECAD while being connected to Digi-Key's inventory of over four million electronic parts.

“Our partnership with Digi-Key is a way to understand the needs of a wide range of design engineers around the globe,” said Henry Potts, vice president and general manager of Mentor Graphics' Systems Design Division. “We’re committed to continuing to respond to customer demand by offering the right mix of capabilities and options in support of the product design process.”
