EDA has released two new automation programs for Seimens PLM's Solid Edge software.
After being approached by a manufacturing company in Missouri about eliminating repetitive tasks within the program, the company developed an application called Revision Maker that greatly sped up their processes. Revision Maker accelerates the process of renaming or copying complex Solid Edge assemblies or drawings and updating links. The company installed a copy of the program on each engineers computer, and now reports hours in time savings.
EDA also announced Revision Maker Premium, which allowed users to easily configure and create new assembly variations of their products.
