EMA Design Automation, a provider of electrical and mechanical CAD tools, has added Mike Rogers, a Moldflow technical expert, to its Autodesk simulation team.

“Mike brings a wealth of injection molding experience to our team enabling him to support our Autodesk customers with his application knowledge and expertise,” said Manny Marcano, president and CEO of EMA, in a press statement.  “His experience rounds out our simulation competencies allowing us to cover the full Autodesk mechanical simulation product line.”

Rogers has close to 30 years of experience working as an Autodesk Moldflow sales and support analyst, 25 of those years working directly for Moldflow Corporation.  He has completed thousands of analyses using Moldflow software for all types of applications and industries, according to EMA. He was also instrumental in developing the dual domain technology for Moldflow, which was instrumental in generating the Adviser line of products and the dual domain solver for the Insight product line. EMA says Rogers is one of the first in the world to become a Gold Level Moldflow Certified User and has also achieved the Autodesk Moldflow Expert Level certification.

“As a long time user of Autodesk products, including the Moldflow product line, I look forward to working with Mike Rogers and EMA,” said Mike Hoyt, CAE engineer, plastics, GHSP, in a press statement. “Mike will still provide excellent Moldflow support, and EMA can consolidate our other Autodesk and OrCAD software and support, allowing us to work with a single vendor across these product lines.”
