Equalis has announced updates to its Pro and Pro Plus Scilab programs. Updates include signal processing functionality and a new communications module. Equalis, through its partnership with Scilab, provides a program consisting of the Scilab numerical computation platform, application-specific modules, and support programs.

New Equalis Pro and Pro Plus update features include a signal processing module for Xcos with over 20 simulation and modeling blocks, and a communication systems module with over 80 critical simulation and modeling blocks as well as more than 40 computation functions. Other features include the ability to directly interface Scilab with GetFEM, connectivity to a range of databases, COMs, object linking and embedding (OLE), and .NET applications to ease integration and scalability.

In addition to these features, Equalis Pro and Pro Plus Scilab subscriptions also include user support in the form of online searchable user documentation, video tutorials, tech tips, priority bug fixes, and e-mail access to the Equalis expert support team. Pro Plus subscriptions also include global real-time support capabilities in numerous time zones and languages: chat, phone, and desktop connect.
