Fisher/Unitech, an information technology software and hardware provider, has acquired SolidVision, a Boston-based SolidWorks reseller that serves the discrete manufacturing industry in New England. Fisher/Unitech and SolidVision will be able to offer customers the Aras Enterprise Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software that complements SolidWorks Enterprise PDM functionality.

The SolidVision staff of SolidWorks professionals complements our recent entry into New England and provides a very competent team that will enable the combined organizations to deliver superior solutions and services to this market, said Charles Hess, President and CEO of Fisher/Unitech. We intend to invest in additional resources to enable our long term success in this market.
