FISHER/UNITECH to Host Design Excellence Forum

The forum will host 11 workshops across the US that feature presentations on achieving excellence in design and manufacturing.

FISHER/UNITECH, a provider of SolidWorks and Stratasys 3D printers, is slated to host its second Design Excellence Forum. The event is held in 11 cities throughout the Midwest and Northeast throughout the month of October.

This year’s forum will offer presentations showcasing technologies that contribute to excellence in design and manufacturing. Some topics include 3D mechanical CAD enhancements, conceptual design with cloud-based collaboration, unified electronic design, improved simulation techniques and advanced 3D printing for product development.

Attendees can also experience the reveal of the new SolidWorks 2015 software. The Design Excellence Forum, according to the company, servers as a unique and complimentary resource for SolidWorks users, prospective users and management. Demonstrations on the software cover methods of optimizing design, improving product development efficiency through data management and design validation applications.

“Our Design Excellence Forum will give end-users and executives alike a viewpoint of how today’s most innovative technologies are being used by manufacturers to compete in the global economy,” said Charlie Hess, CEO at FISHER/UNITECH.

The first city on the tour is Kansas City, KS, on October 1.
