Fisher/Unitech Offers EXALEAD OnePart for Product Development

By DE Editors

March 21, 2014

Fisher/Unitech announced it will offer a search-based application (SBA) technology for product development named EXALEAD OnePart from Dassault Systemes SolidWorks.

EXALEAD OnePart allows designers and engineers to rapidly locate and access existing parts, product designs and other related information located anywhere inside the organization, even beyond PDM and PLM repositories, the company says. It eliminates the need to reproduce new parts and reduces the time spent searching for already created parts. The application offers both semantic and geometric based search arguments to find existing parts.

"Fisher/Unitech is pleased to introduce EXALEAD OnePart from DS SolidWorks," said Charles Hess, president and CEO at Fisher/Unitech. "OnePart is a solution using SBA technology that provides exceptional search results for companies with extensive legacy product data. With OnePart, we are at the threshold of a new era for product developers."

Fisher/Unitech will provide software, training and implementation services for EXALEAD One Part for existing and new clients throughout all locations.
