Forecast 3D Expands Prototyping Facilities

Forecast 3D, a provider of 3D printing, rapid prototyping and short-run manufacturing, has expanded its facilities an additional 5,500 sq. ft. This new addition will serve host to the company's CNC (computer numerically controlled) machining department. It also allows for expansion of the company's main manufacturing department.

The company currently offers stereolithography, fused deposition modeling, PolyJet color 3D printing, CNC machining and RTV tooling in house. Having more factory space enables the addition of several new industrial 3D printers to its additive manufacturing division, the company states.

“Recent expansion of our CNC department will allow us to respond even more aggressively to the quick-turn prototype needs of our customers. With increased capacity we can provide fast, accurate and affordable solutions for our customers," said Mark Whitley, aerospace project engineer.
