Hexagon Metrology hosted its annual live event in Las Vegas last week. At HxGN Live, the company explored the future of manufacturing. The event had over 3,500 attendees from more than 70 countries explore the theme "Sensing. Thinking. Acting."

Speakers at HxGN Live included:

  • Julie Shaw, associate professor at MIT and leader of the Interactive Robotics Group in the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory
  • Gardner Carrick, vice president of Strategic Initiatives at The Manufacturing Institute
  • Simon-Markus Kothe, group manager of Machining Technology at the Fraunhofer Institute
“At HxGN LIVE, we explored innovation within metrology and beyond. By enabling our customers to not just gather data, but also to be able to process it and use it to inform future actions, we can make a difference to all kinds of manufacturers,” says Norbert Hanke, president and CEO, Hexagon Metrology. “Automation offers us new and exciting potential for continued advancement as we help the manufacturing community sense, think and act their way to better productivity.”
