Hexagon Metrology will present at Dreamforce 2015, an event focused on innovation and user applications of Salesforce. The conference will run from September 15 to 18 in San Francisco.

Milan Kocic, business development manager of User Experience and Innovation will discuss how the Internet of Things (IoT) is part of a customer engagement strategy. During his talk, Kocic will cover the integration of Salesforce technology into Hexagon's latest offering of MMS PULSE. With the added software, users can turn machine and metrology data into real-time insight, the company states.

"We are extremely pleased to be a part of Dreamforce for the second time. Hexagon Metrology has been focused on UX (user experience), Cloud technologies, and IoT for many years. IoT is generating an unparalleled amount of data, which is disrupting our industry in a good way. It is compelling us to develop technology that helps our customers become increasingly pro-active in their inspection processes, CMM maintenance, and more. Over time, we will be able to analyze and use current and historical data to become even more predictive, more proactive. It is an exciting juncture in manufacturing technology," says Michael Mariani, Director of Strategic Business Development at Hexagon Metrology.
