IXI Technology Acquires RioTech Corporation

IXI Technology, a provider of data communications solutions, has acquired California-based RioTech Corporation. This transaction, the company states, expands testing capabilities and contract manufacturing support for its clients.

RioTech is a provider of solutions for electronic and software engineering, automated test, electronic systems and build-to-print services.

"The acquisition of RioTech is part of the IXI Technology strategic plan to expand its product base to include advanced test systems," said Michael Carter, CEO of IXI Technology. "RioTech has been an industry leader designing custom test systems for semiconductors, analog and digital printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs), radio frequency (RF) modules, and entire electronic systems. RioTech has been providing these advanced test systems to Fortune 500 and small independent technology business alike for the past 20 years.
