Keysight Technologies Releases New Frequency Options

By DE Editors

April 10, 2015

Keysight Technologies has introduced three new low-frequency options for its E4982A LCR meter. These options make the meter well-suited for RF inductor, coil and EMI (electromagnetic interference) filter manufacturers that need to perform impedance testing.

The options cover the following frequency ranges: 1-300MHz, 1-500MHz and 1MHz-1GHz. These options, according to the company, complement the meter's existing 3GHz measurement capability. Upgrade options are also available.

The meter features high measurement speed, 0.8% basic accuracy and a wide impedance measurement range in all frequency options.

“Impedance testing is a critical step in the manufacture of passive components,” said Akira Nukiyama, vice president and general manager of Keysight’s Component Test Division. “Performing this testing cost-effectively is just as critical. With our new low-frequency LCR meter options, manufacturers now have the ability to perform the required testing in a highly cost-effective manner.”
