KISTERS 3DViewStation offers a solution for quickly creating and maintaining technical instructions, company shares. Whether for production, service or training, the software can be used to create visual work and repair instructions from existing 3D CAD data in little time, which are easy to understand and updated always.
3DViewStation enables users to open CAD data in a range of formats (including CATIA, NX, SolidWorks, STEP, JT) without conversion and use it to create step-by-step documentation for assembly or repairs, including exploded views, detailed views and parts lists.
A highlight is the 3DViewStation WebViewer version, which only requires a browser to create interactive assembly or service instructions. These can be integrated directly into web portals, mobile devices or machine terminals. Users can call up each work step as a predefined 3D view, freely rotate and zoom components or query specific status information via the 3D model—without any CAD knowledge and without having to download 3D CAD data to the end device.
Thanks to integration with current CAD data, existing instructions can be updated quickly when changes are made to the model. Existing views or exploded views do not have to be rebuilt, but can be adopted and adapted.
Use of 3DViewStation does not require a separate CAD license. This enables company-wide access to product data, without additional software costs.
