Aras, a provider of PLM (product lifecycle management) software, has been selected by Laird to implement the Innovator platform. Laird is a manufacturer of communications connectivity and electromagnetic interference protection products.

Laird, according to a company press release, will implement Innovator to streamline global product development and improve product visibility. Innovator will be integrated into NX, SOLIDWORKS, Altium ECAD and Laird's ERP (enterprise resource planning) systems.

“Laird has provided global organizations with high-quality performance materials and wireless systems for more than 30 years,” said Peter Schroer, CEO of Aras. “Their use of Aras as the PLM backbone for complex systems across an extensive enterprise underscores the value of advanced PLM.”
