The unit can log up to four thermocouple channels, store 1.9 million measurements, and features an LCD screen for readings and logging status.

It supports up to four J, K, T, E, R, S, B, or N type thermocouple sensors (sold separately), and records ambient temperature with internal temperature thermistor. It supports software-selectable burst logging, enabling the logger to record data at a different intervals based on user-specified conditions.

A software-selectable logger alarm indicates high or low readings, and it features logger control buttons for manual control of logging, display options, and event generations.

The unit is powered by two AAA batteries (included), and includes a mini-USB cable and built-in magnets and an accessory kit for logger mounting.

The USB-5100 Series Data Logger software is available as a free download. It can be used to configure, launch and perform data read out of data loggers, and displays logger status and current readings. Supported operating systems include Windows 8/7/Vista/XP, 32-bit or 64-bit (required Java Runtime Environment available for installation with software), and Mac OS X 10.6.x or later, 32-bit or 64-bit.
