Mellanox Technologies has announced its end-to-end 10 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity portfolio, providing end-users with a fabric management solution. Mellanox’s set of Ethernet products are designed to address the growing performance needs in the high-performance computing, enterprise, mega warehouse data centers, financial services, cloud computing, Internet and Web 2.0 markets. 

“We are seeing increasing demand in multiple markets, for faster, more efficient and feature-rich server and storage connectivity,” says Patrick Guay, vice president of marketing at Mellanox Technologies. “With Mellanox’s end-to-end 10 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity solutions, organizations can build out their data center infrastructures to address the multi-faceted requirements of their customers for faster and more reliable services, while reducing their capital and operational expenses.” 

Mellanox’s Vantage family consists of 10 Gigabit Ethernet switches, combined with ConnectX-2 EN 10 Gigabit Ethernet NICs with support for RDMA over Converged Ethernet (RoCE), management and acceleration software and cables.
