The NAFEMS 2014 Americas Conference will be held May 28-30, 2014, at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort in Colorado Springs, Colo. The event is co-located with the Collaboration & Interoperability Congress (CIC).

According to NAFEMS, the central theme of the co-located events is "Driving Product Development with Collaboration, Simulation, and Integration."

Session topics will include the commercial impact of CAE investments; development of CAE roadmaps; integration of simulation data within PLM; innovations in simulation technology; HPC systems for CAE; driving design improvement and optimization from smart simulations; and how to accomplish validation within complex systems, among other subjects.

NAFEMS is requesting presentations that can provide case studies on the effective use of simulation for a particular application. Presentations from all areas of simulation will be considered, but contributions that highlight one or more of the listed themes are particularly welcomed, the organization says.

The submission deadline is Jan. 29, 2014. Abstracts of 300 to 600 words should be submitted to [email protected].
