The National Center for Defense Manufacturing and Machining (NCDMM) announces the restructuring of its organizational operations to include a new holding company and a subsidiary/sister company to support its long-term growth strategy within the global advanced manufacturing industry.

Effective immediately, Manufacturing Technology Deployment Group, Inc. (MTDG) will become the 501(c)(3) not-for-profit parent company of both the NCDMM and its new sister, not-for-profit company, Advanced Manufacturing International, Inc. (AMI). While NCDMM will remain headquartered in Blairsville, PA, both MTDG and AMI will be based in Clearwater, FL.

“Today’s exciting organizational restructuring announcement is the culmination of much thought, discussion, and planning among our leadership team and our Board of Directors on growing and evolving our operations,” says Dean L. Bartles, Ph.D., FSME, FASME, NCDMM president & chief executive officer. “For nearly two decades, NCDMM has brought tremendous value and expertise to the U.S. defense manufacturing base. Now, we are uniquely positioned to leverage that experience to a broader manufacturing base both here and abroad.”

At this time, there are no new appointments to the business leadership as a result of the reorganization. The initial directors of both MTDG and AMI will remain NCDMM leadership, with Dr. Bartles as president, Gary Fleegle as vice president and Gene Berkebile as secretary.

Both MTDG and AMI will be located at 14141 46th Street North, Unit #1203, Clearwater, FL 33762. Main phone numbers for MTDG and AMI are (727) 330-3758 and (727) 330-3756, respectively.
