NVIDIA Corporation(Santa Clara, CA) today announced the NVIDIA Quadro FX 3500M, callingit the highest-performing mobile workstation graphics solution for CAD,digital content creation, and visualization. The Quadro FX 3500M, withsupport for OpenGL and DirectX, offers up to 512MB G-DDR3 memory, a256-bit memory interface, up to 38.4GBps memory bandwidth, and up to2GBps pixel read back. It includes adaptive power management tools forscalability and visualization of data at high resolutions.

The new graphics solution is available as an option in the Dell Precision M90 mobile workstation, which has been called the company's most powerful mobile workstation (for DE's review of the Dell Precision M90, click here).It was designed for on-the-go engineers, analysts, scientists, artists,and other professionals who need an ISV-certified mobile platform.

NVIDIA Quadro FX mobile solutions offer the same features found in thecompany's graphics solutions for desktop-based professionalworkstations, including 12-bit sub-pixel precision, full 32-bitfloating-point precision, as well as many other capabilities.

The Dell Precision M90 features Intel Core 2 Duo processors, largememory configurations, 17-inch displays, and can be configured with 32-or 64-bit Microsoft Windows XP Professional. The option of adding theNVIDIA Quadro FX 3500M to the M90 adds $399 to its price.
