This update brings faster bill of materials generation, a more intuitive interface, and enhanced functionality, ensuring an efficient workflow for users, according to openBOM. 

The new update focuses on three areas: performance, interface design, and expanded support for Onshape’s capabilities. With improved speed for generating and updating BOMs, simplified settings, and better management of assemblies and derivative files, OpenBOM now offers a more integrated experience. The introduction of a modern drawing flyout interface fenhances usability, providing quicker access to design data, openBOM notes.
