PerfectPart v4.0 Software Appliance Now Available

PerfectPart Software has released PerfectPart v4.0, a software appliance designed to improve quality and enable traceability in manual assembly manufacturing operations. PerfectPart is available preinstalled on touchscreen hardware, and is pre-integrated for "one-click" connection to a number of commonly used plant floor tools and I/O devices.

A browser-based administrative interface allows system management from any internet-connected device, including modern mobile devices. According tot he company, PerfectPart's extensibility allows cost-effective customization to accommodate the integration requirements associated with some enterprise PLM, ERP, MES, or plant floor system configurations.

Using the solution, work instruction development, deployment, revisions and links to engineering design documents can be easily maintained by plant employees. PerfectPart 4.0 also accommodates a variety of positive verification work-enforcement techniques, including required operator inputs, automatic sensors, Pick2Light inventories, and real-time tool data (e.g., torque applied).
