May 6, 2015

Philatron, a wire and cable provider, is starting a new department for engineering design solutions. This team, according to the company will enable OEM (original equipment manufacturer) customers to work with experts in electronic R&D prototype cables.

The department will provide layout, design, CAD drawings and details on electrical systems. It will also review industrial marketplaces to re-engineer electrical cables already in use to increase savings, a press release states.

“Philatron readily accepts this feat after receiving boxes upon boxes of unidentified cable from the military. Philatron Engineers’ are inspecting every conductor, and strand, to re-engineer a cost effective design, to give a better applicable operation,” says Phil Ramos Jr., CEO, Philatron.
