Psychsoftpc's Psyborg Extreme Graphics Workstation Master Edition, which is available in Windows 7 Ultimate and SUSE Linux SLED versions, now features the Fermi-based NVIDIA Quadro 5000 GPU.

The Quadro 5000 professional graphics card delivers up to four times faster performance than the previous generation across a range of design, animation and video applications. Featuring a new Scalable Geometry Engine technology, the Quadro 5000 can process up to 950 million triangles per second, according to the company.

Psychsoftpc says some applications can harness the NVIDIA CUDA parallel processing of the Quadro 5000 GPU to deliver performance gains up to eight times faster when running applications such as ray tracing, video processing and computational fluid dynamics.

Combining the Quadro 5000 workstation GPU with the Intel Core i7 975 Processor and 12GB of DDR3 RAM in the Psyborg Extreme Graphics Workstation Master Edition, provides fast rendering, modeling and designing.
