QuesTek Innovations, a company focused on space-grade materials design and predictive simulation, reports that Pangea Propulsion, a European aerospace innovator, has adopted its ICMD materials simulation software platform. Known for its advanced propulsion systems, Pangea will leverage QuesTek's Materials by Design technology to accelerate development in extreme environments.

"Materials are a critical enabler in next-generation propulsion," says Adrià Argemí, CEO at Pangea Propulsion. "By working with QuesTek, we gain access to decades of materials expertise and a simulation platform that lets us design faster, test smarter, and push the limits of performance."

Through ICMD, Pangea will be able to:

  • Simulate and optimize alloys for harsh environments.
  • Accelerate development by minimizing trial-and-error testing.
  • Design with confidence in component durability and qualification readiness.
  • Reduce time to market by using predictive models to inform decisions from the outset.

"Pangea is building for the future of propulsion," says Bill Mahoney, chief operating officer of QuesTek Innovations. "We're honored to support that mission with ICMD® and our space-focused materials design expertise, giving their team tools to move faster and smarter in one of the most demanding engineering environments on Earth or beyond."

The collaboration reinforces QuesTek's role as a key materials innovation partner across the global space industry.
