Siemens PLM Software launched its new LMS SCADAS XS, a portable noise and vibration data acquisition system. The LMS SCADAS XS is specifically designed for easy in-vehicle or in-field measurements, delivering testing productivity and securing data quality, the company says. An included tablet application allows engineers to prepare test setups and monitor and validate test data.
Key applications include typical noise and vibration testing, and field diagnostics, mobile measurements and laboratory testing. According to the company, it is suitable for both expert and non-expert users.
It can be used in stand-alone mode, with a tablet, or with a PC running LMS Test.Lab.
