SoftKinetic is working with NVIDIA to bring full body tracking capabilities to interactive digital entertainment with devices such as NVIDIA's Project SHIELD, automotive infotainment and navigation systems, and augmented reality applications powered by the Tegra platform, the company says.
"SoftKinetic is delighted to collaborate with NVIDIA in order to bring our industry-leading gesture recognition technology to the Tegra platform," said Michel Tombroff, CEO of SoftKinetic. "The capabilities of Tegra, in particular in terms of high-performance computer vision and image processing, allow us to achieve excellent performance for the demanding applications such as video games, and we look forward to extending this to other markets as well."
