Software Factory Releases Add-Ons and Customizations for Creo and Windchill

Automatically exchange data between Windchill, SAP.

By DE Editors

June 12, 2013

Software Factory has released new versions of its productivity solutions for Creo and Windchill.

INSPECT for Creo allows users to automatically generate characteristics from CAD data. Every characteristic is defined by a unique identifier through the complete product life cycle, and can be shown in the drawing. All changes of the 3D model and the drawing can be clearly traced, updated and documented. The company's WALLCHECK for Creo allows users to analyze and check wall thickness conditions of parts during the design process.

The Email Contact product provides a standard interface to exchange data automatically between Windchill and SAP, while iPLOT/iEXPORT for Windchill provides a simple surface in Windchill to provide access to drawings and 3D models. Objects can be searched, selected and exported or printed directly in an eligible neutral format.

The PLOT/EXPORT for Windchill solution allows users to automatically create plot files triggered by events for subsequent processing in third party systems. PLOT/EXPORT for Windchill additionally produces an attribute file with the drawing objects' meta data and supports all Creo plot formats.
