The Solid Edge Mobile Viewer for Android from Siemens PLM Software is now available via the Google Play Store for deployment on mobile phones running Android 4.0 or later.
The app was previously only available for use on Android tablets.
The app uses a special file format (*.sev) with which users can output parts and assemblies from Solid Edge ST5. Users can rotate and zoom 3D CAD models on an Android phone using the solution.
