SIMPOE, the French plastic injection simulation software provider, announced the launch of a free trial program for its SimpoEdge solution, the plastic injection solution fully embedded into Solid Edge software from Siemens PLM Software.

With SimpoEdge, Solid Edge users have access to tools to optimize the design and the manufacturing process of plastic parts, without ever leaving Solid Edge.

"Our SimpoEdge free trial program, combined with the Solid Edge free trial program from Siemens PLM Software, offers computer-aided-design (CAD) users a unique opportunity to become acquainted with state-of-the art technologies to design and optimize plastic parts and drastically reduce the time to market of new products," said Alain Dubois, SIMPOE's president and CEO.

The SimpoEdge free trial program will end on Dec. 31, 2012. The program includes the SimpoEdge ENG package.
