Beijing-based company Tiertime Technology Co. Ltd. has launched its new desktop 3D printer, the UP BOX. Ideal for professional and educational users, this printer represents the third model in the UP series of 3D printers.

The UP Box expands on the performance of the company's UP Plus 2 and the UP mini by adding user desired features. These include a larger build volume, finer print resolution and efficiency. The UP Box sports a build envelope of 10 x 8 x 8 inches, a print resolution of 0.1mm and a printing speed up to 30% faster than the UP Plus 2.

New features for the UP Box include:

  • A fully automated platform leveling with automatic calibration.
  • Enclosure with Air Filtration System that keeps the environment green by minimizing operational noise and containing fumes.
  • Light-Pulse functional LED and display of printer status.
"Our goal is to be the most reliable provider of 3D technologies and solutions to our customers around the world," said Guo Ge, general manager, Tiertime. "The UP BOX is proof that we meet the needs of professional users and demonstrate Tiertime's continuing leadership in 3D technology."
