XYZ Scientific Applications, Inc. has released TrueGrid V2.3.3, the hex mesh generator for finite element analysis (FEA), computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis, and fluid-structure interaction (FSI). V2.3.3 delivers more user capabilities to achieve quality hex mesh design.

TrueGrid V2.3.3 has incorporated an improved user interface, an extended volume library, and many other enhancements requested by customers. Users now have a new way of transforming parts to interactively adjust the position of independent parts. The extended library of transformations can be applied to various objects in a model.  Version 2.3.3 allows users to automatically create midsurface shells with variable thickness.

TrueGrid Version 2.3.3 has improved ability to import IGES files and improved efficiency of importing models from CAD systems.  Support documentation has been extended to include more output manuals.  Numerous output options have been improved, including LS-DYNA, FLUENT, SAMMI, Exodus II, KIVA 4, and TOPAZ.
