XYZprinting Adds SOLIDWORKS Support

Users will now be able to design and print with SOLIDWORKS from the company's platform.

XYZprinting, a 3D printing company, has added support for SOLIDWORKS on its printing ecosystem. This will allow users to design and print more successfully from the XYZprinting product suite.

This solution, according to the company:

  • Transforms the traditional 3D printing workflow by removing time-consuming steps; such as finishing a design, exporting an STL file, utilizing separate applications, and additional reorientation and scaling steps before printing.
  • Lets consumers 3D print directly within the SOLIDWORKS software.
“We’re proud to partner with Dassault Systèmes SOLIDWORKS to deliver a streamlined 3D printing experience for consumers,” said Simon Shen, CEO of XYZprinting and New Kinpo Group. “Together, our partnership with SOLIDWORKS revolutionizes the traditional consumer’s 3D printing workflow. With a focus on 3D printing software integration, leveraging XYZprinting’s product suite and SOLIDWORKS’ software, our partnership delivers an enhanced 3D printing experience to consumers.”
