The company is working to make its systems compatible with the Windows 10 3D Builder application.

XYZprinting, a provider of 3D printing systems, has partnered with Microsoft to support the 3D Builder application on Windows 10. By supporting the application, the company states, it will help provide an easier printing workflow and more intuitive design.

The company is working with Microsoft to provide XYZprinting system compatibility, extensive slicing technology and direct printing with formats such as PLY, STL or 3MF. Supported systems will include the da Vinci 1.0, 2.0, 1.0 AiO, 1.1 and Junior series.

“Microsoft is on the cutting edge of technology. With Windows 10 and 3D Builder, we’re pleased to hear that XYZprinting customers who upgrade their operating systems will have software that fully supports the latest in 3D printing designing and experience the seamless 3D printing process,” said Simon Shen, CEO of XYZprinting and New Kinpo Group. “Together, XYZprinting and Windows integrate designers’ creativity with the most up-to-date technology easier than ever before.”
