ZW3D (ZWSOFT), supplier of advanced CAD/CAM solutions for manufacturing, has launched ZW3D 2019, featuring productivity improvements from design to manufacturing.

Being optimized on a 3D CAD platform, ZW3D 2019 features a new algorithm that enables a higher processing speed of display, calculation and response, delivering faster zooming, panning and rotating of 3D models and facilitating better experience in handling big models with over-1GB files, according tot he company.

Equipped with new flexible sub-assembly, the ZW3D 2019 edition allows engineers to verify the motion of the whole assembly. Plus, more productive assembly design is ensured, with the in-context assembly tool to enhance usability and fully-customized 3D BOM to manage attributes efficiently, the company notes.

VoluMill, the high-performance roughing strategy, has been integrated into ZW3D 2019. Other CAM features include NC output sub program, cleanup corner control for 2X operation and flat finishing.

Besides VoluMill, other native integrations can be spotted, like Alma CAM for nesting to maximize the use of material and PARTsolutions for libraries to minimize the repetitive work of standard parts modeling.

“The latest ZW3D edition is packed with enhancements based on insights and feedback from our community,” says John Li, CTO of ZW3D.
