3Dconnexion’s line of 3D mice is now supported by Adobe Photoshop CS4 and Photoshop CS4 Extended software editions. Digital-content creators, architects, and product designers can use 3Dconnexion 3D mice within Photoshop CS4 Extended to precisely control 3D models without switching tools. Within 2D designs, creative professionals can pan and zoom and adjust the brush size by twisting the controller cap.

New to Photoshop CS4 Extended, designers no longer have to explicitly switch to a 3D environment when editing, but can set a 3D layer as active to enable 3D mode. In addition, 3Dconnexion 3D mice automatically detect whether a layer is 2D or 3D and provide the appropriate navigation style for that environment.

Unlike traditional mice confined to motion on one flat plane, 3Dconnexion 3D mice enable designers to move in all three dimensions simultaneously. By gently lifting, pressing and turning the 3D mouse controller cap, Adobe Photoshop CS4 Extended users can view 3D models while designing.
