3DScanCo(Atlanta, GA) willpartner with Laser Design Inc. (LDI; Minneapolis, MN), a supplier of 3Dlaser scanners, to add 3D laser scanners to its repertoire of currently offeredsystems, improving its ability to match the right scanner for the job. 3DScanCowill now offer 3D scanning services with accuracy and flexibility using LDI'slaser scanning systems.

Thescanners include the Surveyor WS-Series high-precision scanning system and theportable Surveyor-FA (FARO Arm from Faro Technologies, Lake Mary, FL) scanner with an 8-in.laser-line scanner, said to be the industry's fastest and most accurate scannerfor up-close scanning of large parts.

The newportable system expands 3DScanCo's onsite scanning capabilities and the WenzelCMM-based WS-Series will provide 3DScanCo with even higher accuracy scanningdesigned for quality inspection.
