Advanced Design Technology will sponsor the ASME 2009 Fluids Engineering Summer Meeting, from August 2nd to 6th, in Vail, Colo. As well as the usual symposia and forums related to different applications of fluid dynamics, the conference will host the 6th International Symposium on Pumping Machinery.

At this year’s conference three papers related to different applications of the TURBOdesign Suite will be presented by ADT and its customers.

Professor M. Zangeneh, executive director of ADT and professor at the University College of London will present a paper titled “A Fast 3D Multi-Objective Automatic Optimization Strategy for Design of Pumps” during a session on performance prediction and optimization of pumps.

Ebara Corporation of Japan will present “Multi-Objective Design Optimization of A Mixed-Flow Pump”, where TURBOdesign Suite is used at the core of the design process; and “Design of a Propeller Fan using 3-D Inverse Design Method and CFD for High Efficiency and Low Aerodynamic Noise,” which also demonstrates the benefits of the 3D Inverse Design methodology.
