As part of its ongoing goal to provide comprehensive and easy-to-use digital prototyping solutions, Autodesk (San Rafael, CA) released Advanced Simulation Technology Preview for Autodesk Inventor 2009.

Featuring simulation technologies from the acquisition of PlassoTech (DE’s related news) a year ago, this technology preview enables users to simulate, validate, and optimize Inventor parts and assemblies so they can better understand the operating performance of their digital prototypes.

Available as a free download from Autodesk Labs, the Advanced Simulation Technology Preview is a standalone tool that requires a licensed copy of Autodesk Inventor SimulationSuite 2009 or Autodesk Inventor Professional 2009. The Advanced Simulation Technology Preview is available in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions.
