Altair to Provide Preview of Upcoming HPC Solutions

Compute Manager and PBS Desktop to be demonstrated at Supercomputing 2011 Conference Nov. 12-18.

Altair Engineering Inc. will demonstrate how it helps solve design and engineering problems at Supercomputing 2011 (SC11). The company will feature a number of HPC and cloud-focused solutions at SC11, including its user-centric portals Compute Manager and PBS Desktop. Also showing will be PBS Professional, RADIOSS, and HyperWorks On-Demand.

Altair will have scheduled demos within its booth, and other presenters include Intel and HP. Bill Nitzberg, CTO of PBS Works will present “Birds of a Feather,” which focuses on the 20-year history of PBS Works and HPC as well as an open discussion on how PBS Works can help address many of the challenges impacting the future of supercomputing.
