Autodesk has acquired certain assets of Inforbix, which provides cloud-based product lifecycle management (PLM) solutions. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. As a part of the acquisition, Autodesk appointed Oleg Shilovitsky as senior director of PLM and data management. Shilovitsky is a co-founder of Inforbix.

Autodesk plans to incorporate Inforbix technology for indexing, search, personalization and data visualization into Autodesk PLM360.
