Benchmark Electronics Receives AS9100 Quality Certification

Benchmark Electronics, a integrated contract manufacturing provider, has received the aerospace AS9100C quality certification for its Angleton, Texas manufacturing facility.

AS9100C is the 2009 revision of the aerospace standard containing requirements for establishing and maintaining a quality management system. This means the Angleton facility now has four key certifications: AS9100C, ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and ANSI/ESD S20.20.

"Obtaining this certification in our Texas facility reflects our continued dedication to the highest standards of quality to serve our aerospace, defense and space customers and expands the global number of Benchmark sites with AS9100C certifications to thirteen. Growth in these high reliability markets is a strategic focus for Benchmark, and we are committed to expanding our competencies and certifications to the meet the local, regional and global needs of our customers," said Gayla J.
