Camstar Systems Inc. has released version 6 of its Camstar software, which has added manufacturing process change management capabilities. The updated application, retitled Camstar Change, according to the company, enables rapid distribution, review and implementation of change across manufacturing facilities.

With Camstar version 6, users can centralize creation of standard processes, enable collaboration across the enterprise, track and analyze process variations and support continuous improvement initiatives to accelerate delivery to market.

“Innovative manufacturers operate in a dynamic environment where there is constant change, at every manufacturing site and across the extended manufacturing network,” said Karim Lokas, senior vice president of Strategy, Product and Marketing for Camstar. “Camstar V6 enables the new infrastructure that manufacturers need in order to respond quickly to customer and market demands — while maintaining control and quality output.”
