CGTech, the developer of VERICUT software, and Doosan Infracore Co., Ltd, a provider of CNC machine tool technology, have announced a partnership to serve the mutual customer base of the two companies.

VERICUT simulates CNC machining to identify errors in the tool path program. Using VERICUT, manufacturers can verify the accuracy of the program before it is loaded on the machine, reducing or eliminating the need for the time-consuming manual prove-out process and minimizing material costs. VERICUT also improves machining efficiency by optimizing cutting speeds, according to the company.

“We are excited about this partnership,” says CGTech Product Marketing Manager, Bill Hasenjaeger. “Manufacturers who buy Doosan machines have invested in sophisticated machinery. Our aim is to offer a software solution designed to help purchasers of this machinery get up and running quickly, while protecting their investment in the long term.”

Doosan Infracore Co., Ltd began making machine tools in 1976, and has expanded its business to include turning centers, machining centers, CNC boring machines, electric discharge machines, aspheric turning centers, and automation systems.
