Colortrac SmartLF Ci 40 is now ENERGY STAR qualified.

Colortrac (Golden, CO), an ENERGY STAR partner and innovator in wide format scanner design, announced that its range of affordable new SmartLF Ci 40 high-definition, large-format technical document scanners are now ENERGY STAR qualified products.

ENERGY STAR and the ENERGY STAR mark are registered U.S. marks. By qualifying to use and display these marks, the SmartLF Ci 40 meets the strict energy efficiency guidelines set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the European Community ENERGY STAR Board for the prevention of greenhouse gas emissions. In voluntarily signing up to meet these requirements, Colortrac has made the reduction of electricity costs by improved energy efficiency and the protection of the environment from harmful emissions a key feature of its latest SmartLF wide format scanners.

The ENERGY STAR qualified SmartLF Ci 40 large format scanners are Colortrac's newest models designed to meet the needs of AEC, CAD, and GIS professionals scanning technical documents. Aggressively priced, the network-capable SmartLF Ci 40 can be run from a simple centrally mounted touch pad. When not in use the SmartLF Ci 40 sleeps in low power mode, ready for instant action at the touch of a button. Its instant-on capability provides a "green" on-demand walk-up scanning option for cost-conscious CAD users in small offices or the departments of large corporations.

There are three new ENERGY STAR qualified 40-in. wide SmartLF Ci 40 models. All give quality conscious professionals the best results in high speed monochrome scanning with the additional option of two levels of fast color scanning. All will accept A0 / E-size AEC, CAD, and GIS engineering drawings, sketches, blueprints, sepias, detailed maps and large color posters. The Colortrac SmartLF Ci 40 range's intuitive walk-up design and ENERGY STAR compliance ensures users get quick and easy, high definition, cost-effective large format scans instantly when needed at any time.

The new ENERGY STAR qualified Colortrac SmartLF Ci 40 scanners are optimized for high speed, accurate scanning of large format technical documents such as CAD drawings, blueprints, engineering schematics, well logs and maps, as well as any other document with fine image details and lines.
