Convergent Science Announces Keynoters for CONVERGE Conference

Convergent Science Inc., the provider of CONVERGE CFD (computational fluid dynamics) software, has updated its program for its second annual user conference to include keynote speakers. The event, held in Welcome, NC, will run from October 5 to 9 and provide opportunity for attendees to learn, train and network.

The keynoters are:

  • Wayne Eckerle, Cummins, "Future Engine Technologies and the Importance of Modeling and Simulation in Their Development"
  • Eric Fluga, Caterpillar, "Why You Should Believe the Simulation"
  • Tang-Wei Kuo, General Motors, "Automotive CFD — Past, Present & Future"
In addition to presentations, Convergent will also offer training with CONVERGE. Topics include conjugate heat transfer modeling, advanced surface preparation tools, advanced post-processing tools, genetic algorithm optimization and an introduction to the software.

The conference will also offer an inside look at NASCAR with interactive facility tours and demonstrations through partnerships with Richard Childress Racing and Earnhardt Childress Racing Engines.
