Sierra Nevada Corporation has added Florida-based Craig Technologies to help support its Dream Chaser program. This initiative is to develop a spacecraft for commercial transportation to low-Earth orbit. The company will assist with developing ground support equipment to support the Dream Chaser during processing.

According to a company press release, Craig Technologies was selected because of its knowledge of spaceflight experience and end-to-end design to production capabilities. The company's specialties include specialty manufacturing, precision machining and fabrication, test and evaluation services and materials requirement planning.

“To partner with the SNC Dream Team who marries ‘innovation with passion for the mission’ provides us an opportunity to fulfill our vision to further strengthen the Space Coast community,” said Carol Craig, founder and CEO, Craig Technologies. “We are fortunate to be given this opportunity to help act as a bridge between the world-class manned spaceflight infrastructure that is the Cape Canaveral legacy and the next generation, cutting-edge spacecraft made possible by the dynamic innovation of commercial enterprise.
