CyberResearch MXGE Motherboard Supports PCIe, PCI, and ISA Cards

The new CyberResearch MXGE motherboards provide one PCIe x16 slot, four PCI slots, one ISA slot, and one more slot that supports either PCI or ISA expansion boards.  MXGE motherboards come with a 2.1 GHZ Core 2 Duo or 3.4 GHz Pentium 4 CPU and 1 GB of DDR2 RAM.

A fundamental problem in maintaining legacy applications is finding motherboards that support older styles of expansion cards. The new MXGE motherboard combines legacy ISA slots with up-to-the-minute PCIe x16 slots, plus six COM ports, four USB ports, and two gigabit LAN ports.

The MXGE motherboard also provides middle to high-range computing power. It offers a 3.4 GHz Pentium 4 CPU with 800MHz front-side bus or a 2.1GHz Core 2 Duo CPU with 1066 MHz front-side bus.  Both models come with 1 GB of DDR2 RAM, and support up to 3GB. They also come with the Windows XP operating system, which can be upgraded to one of the 32-bit or 64-bit Windows Vista operating systems.
