Scanning services company Exact Metrology, Inc. (Cincinnati, OH) announced the opening of a new 6,000 square foot Training and Technology Center on the north side of Cincinnati, Ohio, in the Westchester area. Customers for Exact Metrology services span a variety of industries including aerospace, medical, automotive, power generation, packaging and consumer goods. Exact Metrology’s rapidly growing contract measurement services and measurement equipment sales business was the catalyst for the opening of the new training center.

Among the scanned items that the company’s portable scanning technology has scanned are entire jets, human bones, anatomical structure, auto parts and helicopters, and museum artifacts. The technology is able to take 3D snapshots of parts ranging from as small as a fingernail to assemblies more than 30 meters long.
