Forming Technologies Inc. (FTI; Oakville, ON, Canada), developer of solutions for design, simulation, and costing of sheet metal components, announced the release of FormingSuite FAST Incremental.

FAST Incremental is an explicit incremental analysis tool based on the proven LSTC LS-Dyna solver. The company says it is the only associative and regenerative incremental solution on the market.

FAST Incremental provides such enhancements as binder wrap calculation based on inverse technology; automated tool extraction from provided part geometries; analysis controlled through FormingSuite graphical user environment; pre- and postprocessing is done in a single, intuitive to use environment; project- / template-driven approach allows analysis to be run in batch mode; fully associative and regenerative to drastically reduce downstream design changes; and it is based on LSTC’s LSDyna solver.
