Granta Design Announces New Solution for Composites Qualification

By DE Editors

March 17, 2015

Granta Design has released a new software solution and service that enables users to streamline the composite qualification process. New tools have been added to GRANTA MI:Composites for data management.

The company has also started a Composites Qualification Service that configures user-specific software packages for an organization's need. With this service, the company states, OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) can build a system that makes it faster and easier to design test programs that produce usable results.

“Our composites qualification software and service started as a customer-driven project to manage composites qualification workflows,” said Dan Williams, product manager at Granta Design. “These materials pose significant data management challenges, making it essential to use a systematic approach and the right, specialist tools. Our ongoing work with composites-focused industries has provided invaluable insight into these challenges, and has helped us develop practical solutions that save time, protect valuable IP, and provide a robust basis for qualifying composite systems.”
